HKU Economic strategy Institute is mainly engaged in policy research and academic research on China's economic strategic development, as well as the promotion and application of research results. Research topics include but are not limited to economic strategy and development, economic transformation and upgrading, regional economic development, enterprise competition and industrial upgrading, industrial supply chain system, etc.

HKU Economic strategy Institute invites applications for Assistant to the Director, postdoctoral and full-time research assistant positions to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

经济战略研究所所长助理

Assistant to the Director

1、协助所长处理所内行政事务性工作，包括：学术交流会议和项目会议的组织安排、国内外来访联络及接待等工作；

Assist the director in handling the Economic strategy Research Institute’s administrative affairs, including the organization and arrangement of academic exchange meetings and project meetings, domestic and international visitor liaison and reception, etc.;

2、负责研究所的财务管理，包括：采购、日常经费报销等工作；

Responsible for the Economic strategy Research Institute’s financial management, including procurement, daily expense reimbursement, etc.;

3、协助研究所的宣传，包括：各类学术活动的策划及宣传、研究所成果统计、信息整理，申报材料撰写、整理的文书性工作等；

Assist in promoting the Economic strategy Research Institute, including planning and publicizing various academic activities, collating statistics of the Institute's achievements, writing and collating application materials, etc.;

4、协助所内的人事管理，包括：人事招聘、入职手续办理等工作；

Assist in the Economic strategy Research Institute’s personnel management, including recruitment, onboarding, etc.;

5、完成研究所所长/副所长交办的其他工作。

Other work assigned by the director.

1、本科及以上学历；相关行政工作经验，会计、经济、金融及管理相关专业背景优先，有经济战略相关领域工作经验优先。

Bachelor degree or above; administrative work experience, accounting, economics, finance and management related professional background is preferred; work experience in economic strategy and related fields is preferred;

2、英文听说读写能力良好，可作为日常工作语言，具备丰富的中、英文写作、翻译经验优先。

Good command of English that can be used as the daily working language; rich experience in writing and translation in Chinese and English is preferred;

3、熟练掌握Office等办公软件，有较强的文字功底。

Skilled in Office and other similar softwares; strong writing skills;

4、具有良好的表达及沟通能力、组织协调能力、学习能力和执行能力，工作细致，有条理，责任心强。

Good expression and communication skills, organization and coordination skills, learning and execution skills; organized with a strong sense of responsibility;

5、具有良好的团队合作意识和服务意识。

经济战略研究所博士后

Postdoctoral Researcher

1、在经济战略方面进行前沿研究，发表高质量的论文；

Conduct cutting-edge research and publish high-quality research papers;

2、根据研究所的研究方向和发展计划，制定研究项目的实施计划，协调项目进度和资源，保证项目的顺利开展和完成；

Formulate implementation plans of research projects according to the Institute’s research focus and vision; coordinate project schedules and resources, and ensure the smooth implementation and completion of the project;

3、探索知识交流和商业化机会，协助研究所与政府和业界开展产学研合作，积极推广及分享研究所获得的研究成果，推动研究所的可持续发展；

Explore knowledge exchange and commercialization opportunities; assist the Institute to develop industry-academia-research cooperations with the government and the industry; actively promote the Institute’s research results for its sustainable development;

4、协助所内各类项目评审、考核、结题验收等工作。

Assist in the evaluation, assessment, and presentation of various projects in the Economic strategy Research Institute.

1、拥有经济、金融、管理相关领域的博士学位，具备相关专业知识和技能，能够深入了解和分析经济战略领域的前沿技术和发展趋势。

A PhD degree in economics, finance, management-related fields, with relevant professional knowledge and skills to understand and analyze the cutting-edge technology and development trends regarding Economic strategy;

2、对经济战略话题有浓厚的学术兴趣，具有在多学科环境中工作的高度积极性和热情。

A strong academic interest in Economic strategy topics, with high motivation and enthusiasm to work in a multidisciplinary environment;

3、具备良好的沟通能力，英文听说读写流利，在顶级会议和刊物上发表过文章的优先。

Good communication skills. Fluent in English reading and writing. Publications in top conferences and journals are preferred.

经济战略研究所全职研究助理

Full-time Research Assistant

1、协助经济战略研究所的学者进行一系列实证研究，深度参与研究项目的全过程。

Assist scholars at the Institute in conducting a series of research projects, highly engaged throughout the studies;

2、完成项目组安排的其他工作。

Complete other work assigned by the project team.

1、本科及以上学历，经济、金融相关专业背景优先，有相关研究经历的优先。

Bachelor degree or above from established universities, economics, finance-related fields, relevant research experience is preferred;

2、对经济战略相关问题有浓厚学术兴趣者优先。

Strong academic interest in Economic strategy-related issues is preferred;

3、拥有良好的中英文写作能力、团队合作能力和沟通能力；能阅读和理解前沿英文经济学期刊文献，有撰写文献综述经验的优先。

Good writing and communication skills in English and Chinese; teamwork skills; able to read and understand cutting-edge English economics journal literature, experience in conducting literature reviews are preferred.
